SalsaJay goes middle eastern in the month of September.
Belly dance is a non-impact, weight-bearing exercise suitable for all ages. It is a good exercise for the prevention of osteoporosis in older people. Many of the moves involve isolations, which improves flexibility of the torso. The legs and long muscles of the back are strengthened by hip movements.
SalsaJay was invited by Cham’alal to perform at the recent Malay Wedding Fair at Mid Valley Megamall. Cham’alal’s intention : To attract as much crowd during Cham’alal’s Happy hour segment.
And attract a crowd we did. Together with Jenni Tan of New Star Studio, we performed a hiphop & salsa fusion ladies number to the interesting glance of the crowd who had gathered day to watch the ladies in red perform.
Cham’alal is a non alcoholic celebration drink imported from France by Cahaya Maju Distributions. Cham’alal taste as good as any alcoholic champagne. …minus the alcohol of course. Nevertheless, I have been told that there are people who thought they got drunk on it! hmmmmm….
It was a hectic weekend for SalsaJay as we made our inaugural appearance at the Malaysian Domestic Tourism Fair 2010 from May 14-May 16 at PWTC. There were loads of bargains and attractive holiday packages. It was very heart warming to know that many people are very keen to pick up salsa dancing. As i told the visitors who came to our booth that weekend, Salsa is not just a dance …it is a lifestyle. Those who have the priviledge to get a glimpse of the ever growing malaysian salsa scene would know. Viva La Salsa!
New intake for May 2010. Give yourself the gift of learning a new move or two and impress your friends or love ones.
